  • Went whale wathcing today with some friends. Been meaning to do this for some time, and was a bit hesitant to do so only a few miles out of the New York Harbor....BUT- it was unreal!- saw tons of Humpbacks, dolphins and very immense schools of fish.
Kinda rad to keep the faith and see these giant creatures still lurking our waters.
Highly recommend it to anyone- and keep your eyes peeled on groupon- we went for 22$.

Also-coming around the corner back into Breezy and seeing the wave jack up was a major plus!- a nice ending to an already rad day!
    Some great fishy waves.

  • I saw the sign and thought, really?

Then again, me & Shacky saw a humpback breach a few times when we SUP'd up past 116 St a few years ago, and that was epic!

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

  • Honestly- the whole first hour i was saying "I knew it- we're getting skunked"-
but the last three hours where nothing but spouts, breaches and humpbacks crashing through "bait bawwls"- it was so worth it.
No i don't work for them, but i do acknowledge all the positivity this brought forth.
Also, it would be pretty rare for you not to see a sighting. The feed here like here like crazy till the end of August, until they breed again down south
After-all we do live near a pretty big river mouth!
