  • So Passion Fruit plants and I get along it seems.  By the beginning spring I should have about 20 plants from germinating seed and propagating cuttings. All born and bred in Rockaway.  Anyone interested in taking in a baby?  Won't be babies for long though.

  • I would love one -- I've seen some of those babies in the nursery!  Planning/hoping to do a LOT of planting (inside & out) in the months/years ahead -- block beautification in full effect.

  • You're already on my list.

By the way,  these are McCain Passion fruit plants.  Not hardy enough to make it through the winter but seem to do fine inside near a window with a good amount of light.

  • You get one by default bro.  Would love to get one of your dads.  That, or I'll take a cutting when I'm there.

  • Shacky don't risk the fine for importing Ag products, besides 'someone' already tried and the cuttings didn't take, gets to dry on the flight over.

I brought the seeds back with me, half dozen small vines about a foot high right now!

Not a great picture below but this is one of my very favorite flowers. Unlike you I just get them to bloom, I can't believe you get fruit from yours. THAT ROCKS!

  • BB those Mcains rule!
Did your granadilla Parcha melon survive the winter?

Shacky I also forgot to mention that the cross pollination between yours and the fat PR fruit will lead to more genetic diversity and probably more frequent and robust fruit by both, so get your qtips ready! :P
