view of side yard from deck... along the house got some kangaroo paws, doctor seuss looking things, large rosemary bush & roses (we just cut the tops off of most othem):

...our small orange tree - maybe in 10 years we'll get some oranges (should have gotten a dwarf tree), some Lilly's and some overgrown vines growing over my bamboo fencing:

    ...the king of the house:

...our tools:  (frroks is in there somewhere)

...the days before the deck (a long time ago):

  • Looks great in person, as well! I liked the setup when you showed it to me when I was out there!

If we move frok's board out of the way, you got a spot for one of mine?  I think I need to start taking some regular trips out that way....

  • Very nice, Boyeee! The Seussian plants look cool! Love the color of the deck.

Rosemary is a trooper. We inherited ours from the previous tenant. It over-wintered and has been doing well pretty much all on its own.

  • ...yeah the king of the house is 85lbs of mr softy!

Will, you are absolutely more than welcome to leave a board here... preferably something like a small wave performance quad in the 5'6-5'8 range  ::)

Rosemary is definitely the spice of choice when I cook... i have too much if it not to use it

  • Queen palms and Papyrus looks pretty tropical, the subtle climate difference between LA and San Diego opens up so many plant pallet opportunities.
