2500 swim last night at the Y. Was gonna just do a mellow distance swim, but had an empty lane and can't waste the opportunity to do some interval training so I worked out fairly hard.

ok, so i surfed the 3 days of thanksgiving {Wed, Thurs, Fri} took a rest day and hit Y today for 3 sets of 3 medicine ball moves, some crunches, pull-ups, push-ups, and 30 minutes interval training at level 10 on the elliptical machine.
It's no better to be safe than sorry....

Just doing plank, yoga ball and machine lifting from here on out.  The hard crossfit stuff beats me up a bit too much.

Crossfit....I like some of the exercises they do like wallballs, but I really think some of it is just a recipe for injury. I find the idea of racing and swinging through pull-ups, free-weight lifting and other fairly intense exercises idiotic. I do think keeping one's heart rate up and moving from exercise to exercise within reason is a good training trick. Just my opinion.

Strength routine tonight followed by 25 minutes of intervals on elliptical machine. I didn't surf today.

The conditions made for surfercise yesterday afternoon where I was.  There was a recent article in outside about crossfit and the high rate of injury and burn out.  I also like to work out in a circuit, but I'd rather take a breather if needed if the alternative is puking.

2200 yd swim. just did distance nonstop since strength training yesterday

strength training followed by 20 minutes elliptical on really hard setting/routine. had a gig and couldn't go to NJ.....

was kinda low yesterday, so another yoga session. tonight is strength again though, gonna do circuit training and keep heart rate up. I don't need people yelling at me to work out hard. I'm a loner.  8)

last night 30 minutes Circuit training:  Pull ups, Pushups {elevated feet}, Surfy squats with 2 - 20lb dumbells, dumbell rows, Crunches w/10lbs on chest, side plank leg lifts. Did 5 sets in the 30 minutes = 30 pull ups, 75 push ups, 60 squats, 60 rows, 75 crunches,  80 side leg lifts
