  • ULTIMATE DRUNKIN SPELLING BEE SHOWDOWN!
1RST PLACE WEINER WINS A FREE PITCHER OF THE BEER OF THEIR CHOICE!
You all choose the date of the TDR.

Thats right. No stripping, no booty shakin & no TT squeezin, (unless ya wanna) but its a legit spelling contest where you can put those skills to the test. I have recieved much critique for my mIz-spelkingz online for some time now & for those of you who have so kindley corrected me, decoded my drunkin rambles & took a shot at helping me slow down enough to get my main idea out, heres your chance to become 1 with my mind so heres how it works...
    RULES!
contestants sign up here online for the TDR or show up, anyone can enter. before the contest starts you must have at least a minimum of 2 full beers or 2 full mixed drinks oooor 2 shots & dont be fooled by the ladies, 2 glasses of wine.

Once youve had your drinks, then we'll start.
After your 1rst word, you must have 2 shots of beer.
After every word after that you will have 3 shots of beer.
If you miss a word by misspelling, you have 1 wild card (1 shot of liquer) then you have 1 more chance to respell it correctly. you only get 1 wild card.
The controller of the game we will ask the words to be spelled & give examples like the real deal spelling Bees.
The winner of the contest will win the Pitcher of their desire and the true bragging rights on this message board for a looooong time to come. Now that prestigue! :o

  • Nooo... not tonight!  I may not be able to surf or body board and I mayn't never have put on a wetsuit befo'... but I can throwdown at a spelling bee like a motherf*cker.  I even post properly spelled, bullet pointed messages to the board.  Bring it, Rob!

And may I remind you all again, the surf bit is changin' tomorrow when I take my Surf Diva lesson.

OED rules!  Although Webster's Third International is my day to day

Has anyone read The Professor and the Madman by Simon Winchester?  It's a very interesting account of the compilation of the OED.

    Cannot make it tonight ...
