    • nice SeaCliff, I had not seen that one yet.

    I was going to start a thread as an aggregate of all the awesome photos and vids that came out of last weekend but have been kind of preoccupied planning a warm water escape the last day or two (3/24-31 in Mainland MX) to put it together.

    I dig this vid of Bayhead a lot...really slick looking production and insane waves:

    • Man, that was one of the worst surf vid's I have ever seen.

    Don't get me wrong, I'm totally into absurdist come dada-ist art and had my own experimental music & video label back in Australia for 5 years....not to mention I was the Director for the New York International Video & New Media Festival for 3 years running.....but this is just painful to watch....ouch!

    • Yeah, i meant to put a *warning* in about the music as I'm not a fan either, but I didn't want to veer even more off topic.

    When people (particularly people I work with, who love the nu-metal) ask what I think about a band or song I am indifferent about I usually dismiss them with "Eh, it's all Korn to me"

    • haha.  kind of funny.  with a surf vid i pretty much go into it assuming the music will suck complete ass.  not suck--suck total ass.  just my own stupid, personal opinion, but about 97% of the music in surf clips is so, so bad.   ;D

    • I was watching an older vid from the late '70s and the music was straight lifted from a porn movie. But an "action Porn" movie because it was more up tempo. If somebody walked in and didn't know what we were watching, they wouda got all embarrassed.
