  • Nice work.  Been wanting to try this for a while.  Do you know if they are single or double foiled?  It's hard to tell from the picture.  Also, they look a little thick.  I tried once to make some fibreglass fins.  Total friggin disaster.

  • bubba,
bert burger had a kick ass post on swaylocks with regards to making wood fins and glassing them.  someone even condensed the post and pics into a webpage so everything flowed better.  IIRC, the fins Bert made were single foiled because he clamped two together and foiled them as if they were one fin.

  • These are single foil. I normally double foil the back fins on my quads but I was following the template of the Lokbox fins that are on Blueberry's Mandala. There is about 7 more photos that i sent Blueberry. I guess he'll post the rest later. Does anyone know how to compress the photo files to be able to use them in the forums. I can't ever get them small enough. I have photoshop....can anyone give me some advice?

  • Supreme - edit the image using pixels.  I reduce them to 1400 and they post fine.
