  • Just basically acquired a free M13 model. I remember my buddy, EAB Artie(SC may know him), used to ride one real smooth when he wanted a change from his Hobie log.
Then my buddy here killed it with a tufflite version before forsaking all paddle-in surfing and going full-time SUP.

    Anyone here ride one?
    Let's hear it.

  • My buddy just scoped one up and loves it.  Great paddle ability and perfect for winter surf it seems with the extra float and paddle.  He seems to love his and surfs it well.  I would recommend it for guys who generally surf bigger boards and wanna scale down to a shortboard type stick but not feel like a kook surfing it....or just for big dudes who like shortboards that are more forgiving.

  • A bit corky in tufflite. I had a McCoy tufflite that was real fun but it's been awhile since i've been on one. I surfed it in solid overhead surf and it worked ok but then it got choppy and really side shore and things got ugly. The jury is still out.
Put a tail pad on it to remind me to really stomp the tail to hack top turns and cutbacks so...we'll see.
Seems like it'll go pretty good in head high glass...but, then again, ANY board works when it's head high and glassy.
