Had the distinct pleasure of seeing 2 whales Sun morning inside 200 yards out off LB which was totally awesome but then just saw the other end of the spectrum a beached whale same day on west coast which really sucks.

For all those that served and are serving. For sending us some really fun leftovers this morning. For making this a school holiday and therefore no buses and lighter traffic going home, a huge bonus for my commute.

If you are looking to improve your breath control on severe hold downs here is a training manual that was passed along to me by a guy who lives on the North Shore and regularly surfs Sunset and Waimea. I probably won't be doing this but I figured someone here might see some value from it.

The World Surf League has a new television home, landing a deal with Universal Sports Network to carry the 2015-16 WSL Big Wave Tour. The channel now claims exclusive TV Everywhere broadcast rights and event re-broadcast rights during the upcoming WSL Big Wave season which opens today. The partnership will see the network carry the Oregon Challenge (Lincoln City, Oregon); Punta Galea Challenge (Punta Galea, Spain); Pe'ahi Challenge (Haiku, Hawaii) and Todos Santos Challenge (Todos Santo, Mexico). In addition, Universal Sports will air encore presentations of other WSL Big Wave events including the 2014 Billabong Pico Alto (Pico Alto, Peru) and 2015 Quiksilver Ceremonial (Punta de Lobos, Chile) in preparation for the upcoming season later this month.

Marcus Mariota hasn't signed contract with Titans for the most ridiculous reason

Marcus Mariota hasnít signed a contract with the Tennessee Titans but the reason could be a bit more innocent than you might think.
Mariota is the only unsigned first-round pick left, but his reasoning for not signing is close to home.
The conditions of the Hawaiian contractís is forbids him from surfing, and heís not happy about it.
There is information circling that Mariota is concerned about a clause in the contract that forbids him from surfing both during the season and during the offseason. Whilst this gives the Titans organization the feeling of security knowing their offensive centerpiece is not going to be subjected to an unnecessary risks, it may distract the player moving forward.
Itís an understandable that the Titans object to such a dangerous hobby. They donít want the second overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft taking unnecessary risks.
Despite these disparities, Mariota is expected to sign a contract.

Looks pretty cool hope it makes it to netflix
