The helicopter, police boat, firefighters were searching for quite a while this afternoon.  Not sure why someone goes in to "swim" wearing pants.

Had sold old shortboard and purchased this board while waiting for custom boards to arrive.  Tore ankle ligaments playing basketball just after board was purchased and then new boards arrived -- have only surfed the custom boards since ankle healed so the board remains unused.
PM me with offers.

LN (or anyone else) - my wife is Hawaiian but had no idea if this was legit.  Any thoughts?

Anyone know what was going on in the water today (besides a lack of waves)?  Seemed like a massive algae bloom or plankton or something.  Water was dark brown and there was a very distinct seaweed smell.

Shaper's Shack: Surfboard Repair, Restoration and Shaping Tips / Fishes

Been thinking about joining the (now stale) fish (twin fin) craze for a while.  Have a 7' egg, 6'8" thruster and a longboard.  6'4" 210 lbs, so I'm thinking at least a 6'2" or 6'4" fish.  Curious if anyone can compare some of the classic twin fin fish boards (assuming you've surfed/compared different fishes.

Any thoughts on some of these shapers:

Kane Garden
Chris Birch (I know its a Carroll factory mass prod.)

I assume a Steve Lis is impossibly expensive to get.
