So after a few years hiatus because of some...stuff...I'm contemplating a new winter suit. Used to have a Rip Curl 5/4 F-bomb, and was pretty happy with it (except for practically having to dislocate my shoulder getting it on), but it's pretty much dead.

So what's good suit in the $300-ish or less range. And I am especially intrigued by a chest zip.

...my only friend, the end
It hurts to set you free
But you'll never follow me
The end of laughter and soft lies
The end of nights we tried to die
This is the end.

Hey so me n the fam were just down in PR for a week. Some good days with solid surf...and some snorkling and other beach activities on the others. Anyhoo, never wanting to shlep my longboard down there, I rented at Mar Azul, and rode a Jimmy Lewis longboard - 9'1" x 22" x 2&3/4, epoxy, with a 2+1 setup. I really enjoyed that thing, paddled great, and super-responsive easy turning. I'm used to my Dan Taylor longboard (9'0" x 23 with a big wingnut singlefin cutout) (otherwise known as the guinessboard) and  leaning in to deeper swooping bottom turns. Jeez, uou could really throw that Jimmw lewis around easily...

Anyway, anybody ridden these ? What did you think ? Ever seen them around here ?
