Anyone get any of the Needs Essentials suits yet?
I have a need essentials 3/2.  It was cheap enough and for a 3/2 I donít need a lot of tech. Iím a large short in most suits and this fits great. Would buy again.

I need a new 3/2, hows the stretch on the need essentials?
I actually think itís a pretty comfortable suit and easy to put on / take off.

Ordered the 3/2 back zip (I hate chest zips and avoid It til winter) and finally tried It out this morning. Felt really good, was warm and stretchy. Good pick up very psyched. Feels way better than my other suit.

While we're on the subject-

Has anyone ever ordered a custom suit through 7till8 or know anyone who has? I'm tempted because I'm short and broad so wetsuits always fit me a little weird, XLS's are super tight on my shoulders sometimes and XL's have too much length. Really tempted to try the custom 5/4.

I got so out of shape the past 2 years, I know I need to get my pop ups quicker. Started doing them at home at night in hopes to get mine quicker again like someone else said in the thread. Hoping that helps a lot.
My question is- Does anyone else have to grab their rails out of necessity? I know pushing off your hands is better, but I had wrist surgery a couple years ago and my left wrist can only bend back a little, way way less than my right wrist, so grabbing the rails feels more comfortable to me, being that I can shift my hands back further when grabbing the rails. So basically, does anyone else have to grab their rails because of injury etc?

Just bought a used 9'0 channin, used it once (i've never ridden a longboard before this) and it was sick.
very psyched- great investment. Hoping that having a longboard now will get me back in better surf shape since I can surf way more

I skated Oil City last week and was slipping out all night, so i picked up these and it made a HUGE difference. So for anyone looking to skate indoor parks this winter (especially slippery ass oil city) I highly reccomend these Bones SPF's. Had a lot of fun after I made the switch.

Do yourself a favor and download We Are Blood off iTunes. It's an hour and a half of some insane skating and true quality production.  I'm also interested in seeing LRGs new movie 1947, and Heroins "Bath Salts".

Been skating the LB park in the mornings and sometimes Bethpage. Would love to get over to the Rockaway Park in the near term before it gets any colder.

Yeah Ive been meaning to check out Bath Salts. And also the Boys Of Summer video. Far rockaway is super fun, and because it's kinda sunken in the ground, the wind in the winter isnt so bad.

There was a thread talking about the new LB park but I wanted to start one just for anything skating. Favorite skaters/video parts/parks/tricks/whatever.
I really liked the new Anti Hero video:
Antihero: Destination Unknown - 2014

Also i've watched Jerey Wray's part from Second Hand Smoke like 10 times this week:
Classics: Jeremy Wray "Second Hand Smoke"

And then of course theres his insane water tower ollie:

I was sort of in the same situation, I have an XL 3/2 and it was a little long and I kinda just dealt with it for a while but it was too long, i was almost gonna cut it shorter. But then I just bought a XLShort.

So if anyones looking for an XL 3/2, $50 and its yours. It's a Quiksilver syncro, Only used it for one season, has a small tear on the back that didnt cut all the way through that i patched. DM me for my email and I can send pictures
