Title: How much should you pay for replacing fcs plug?
Post by: MulletHopper on July 10, 2007, 05:00:08 PM
My friend had his board repaired and they're asking $80 (after the fact) to replace an FCS fin?  That seems like a lot of money for a plug repair.

What is the average price for replacing an FCS plug?

I don't know, but that seems like a lot.  It is really a pretty easy fix.  Not to be a dick, but your friend probably should have asked about the cost on the front side.

I'd think 25-30 per.  Unless the plug(s) mangled the foam and glass around it.  Then it is not such an simple repair.

$50 seems more reasonable.
The days of the $35 buck repair are gone...
