  • I use my wife's exercise ball to work out by giving my kids 3 to start running in the backyard then I hit the ball with either a driver or a baseball bat and try to take them out on the fly.  The swinging motion combines with intense bouts of laughter to strengthen my core.

Any video?  This has got to be good.

Never thought about video - hhhhmm maybe I can unleash the inner stage mother in me yet?  It is pretty amazing how that big ball reacts off the driver though - I have to hold back a bit when there in close range (or purposefully miss them) or the ball would flatten them like Wile E Coyote.

  • krut how was the dvd?  maybe i will see you at the fundraiser tonite, to heckle you again.

in massage school we had about 6 of those exercise balls and we would wing them at each other as a way to get rid of steam or move around in our breaks.  scared the hell out of the instructors, but we had a blast with them.

  • i just started doing push-ups with my feet on the yuppy ball and my hands on an indo board or the flat part of a bosu ball... those things are hard as hell!

like this: (but your feet are on one of those big balls)

serious core work to balance while you do push-ups
