donate a board to El Salvador surfers?

  • Hey folks

Heading out to El Salvador in late June, looking to give away boards to locals.

My board bag fits boards 6'10" and under, Delta lets me pack 2 boards for 150. I have a friend who is bringing boards for the both of us, so my contribution will be just giveaways.

If you have a decent surf craft that is taking up shelf space and want to spread aloha, hit me up. I'd be happy to bring some good boards to some people who live with a lot less than you and me.

  • Wow, that's awesome!  I have a 6'6" Dahlberg I was going to sell, but you can have it if you want.  A step-up for a smaller person or all-rounder for a bigger one.  A couple not-so pretty ding repairs, but it's white and water-tight and rides great.  I have it on the Lower East Side right now.

  • Cameron has stepped up, super cool...I still have room for one more board if you want to thin out your quiver.

Spread some aloha and stoke out an El Salvador grom!

  • What a great idea!    Thank you for stepping up........we need to do more good things in this world.

Years ago (early 60's)I walked out of the water at Rincon in PR on my last morning and handed my board to one of the beach kids. (I just didnt want to take it home).   The smile I got was the best thing ever!

    Pay it forward........
