  • Well, after a bunch of trial and a lot of error, I finally got the "Add image to post" function to work.

What does that mean for you, as a forum user? If you are logged in, you will see the "Add image to post" link above the text box when you start a new post or reply to a thread. This will allow you to add an image directly from your own computer right into your post. Just make sure you select the option to automatically resize the image to optimize it for message boards (640x480) and you're set to go. Your image will be added as a thumbnail, which will render as full size when clicked.

Give it a try - its fast and easy! Like this:

(Click the pic and it will render full size)

It works.. I think... makes it easier to pop pics from your own PC or whatever, instead of using an image server or posting elsewhere then linking back again..

BTW- that is Brandon Bay in Ireland on a glorious 75 degree day with scorching sunshine. Too bad it was in April and I was expecting typical Irish April weather. A 6/5/4 with attached hood... I felt like a roasted chicken after 30 minutes. Even taking the hood off wasn't enough to cool off. Even though the water was in the upper 50's, I skipped off the wettie and gave it a go for about an hour.

Bandon Bay? Really? I thought that was a secret spot on Long Island that's only accessible by long walk or 4x4.  ;)

All kidding aside - that looks incredibly beautiful. I hope one day to surf Ireland. Ahh…one day.

Click to see the larger image...screen shot from my computer when watching the ISS live feed. You can see the twin forks in the photo if you look close enough. We're all down there somewhere!!

Nice!! Yep - clear as day - pretty cool shot!

I'm working on adjusting the thumbnail size to default to 320x240 to avoid always having to click to get a look at the pic unless someone wants to.

  • Feature update: Now your images will post FULL SIZE - no more thumbnails that need to be clicked!
