  • My family decided that our destination for vacation this up coming summer is Puerto Rico. I'm interested in surfing while I am there. I am a decent surfer. Is there anywhere that will have waves in the summer. Most likely going in June. Where to rent boards if their happens to be waves. ( I fully understand most people say that there is no waves this time of year, just curious on other peoples experiences. I am just hoping on getting at least one good day of surfing while I am there.)

  • Mar Azul has good boards in Rincon but I'd bet on it being hot and flat.

  • I have been in the summer. Found that the Aguadilla area was more consistent by picking up a larger variety of swell direction. Rincon area never got much for waves. If you have a rental car, keep an eye on LOLA forecast and be prepared to drive as the entire coast gets waves, just depends on the swell direction.

I had my boards so not much help in the rental department.

    Hope you get some.
