  • Yeah there was something in Time Out NY again about N3S surfing. I cant even read it. At least I know the pic is from the thing where they broughtbout troubled kids & helped em have a good time surfin. But yeah Im sick of it. At least the news is venturing to some other places, Maybe people will get over the N3S once they see how nice it is other places further out. ;) I dunno.

  • Maybe I'm not a "purist" but that small wave tow surfing looks like a blast. Just getting all that speed going on a wave face would open up lots of possibilities.
I've been doing some surfing behind a 17' Boston Whaler and a wave runner and it's good fun. With straps? In waves? Fuggedaboutit.

  • If I remember right, f-stop's kid Nick was big into the small wave tow-ats, and the one vid clip I remember seeing was pretty sick...I'll dig around a bit and see if i can find a link. If anyone else has it..it was good stuff.

  • This is NOT SURFING. You are not riding a wave you are being thrown at it. If they take the time to go to a spot were no one is surfing or swiming (why can't they with a PWC)  I don't have an issue but, I don't see much of a difference between this and wake boarding.
    Trust in the board.

  • Anyone here ever tow?
2G I think has some experience.
I'm hoping to do some this winter in "small" big waves.
