  • FYI, Religion surf shop in Shirley on Willaim Floyd Pkwy, is closing and having an outrageous sale. Go ck it out tell your friends. Lots of merchandise left at unbelievable prices.boards, socks, day bags, fins, wetsuits, boogie boards,wax, skateboards, clothing, should I keep going? Nah, I think u get it. Go and ck em out.

  • mostly short used shorter boards. but lots of other inventory. def. worth the trip.

  • that sucks. now we have no surf shops. those guys hung around as long as possible. blows being a small business owner these days.

  • Tough to see another shop go.  Must be very hard to keep the doors open in this retail environment although one would think rents would start to fall at some point making it easier.

  • Not to mention the sandbars at the beach have been absolute trash for the last 6 years at that location.

    This is true.. Although surfed last night there hoping for the wind shift which never occurred.... Found a punchy Lil sandbar that was fun considering the 6sec period

    Should have went west. Wind shifted around 7.


    I stopped by the shop today. Not much left. 2 or 3 new boards decemt selection of wetsuits still. One 5.4 excel drylock suit. Size L i think it was.
    I picked up 2 long board fins a t shirt some 3mm boots and wax.... of course.

  • I should add I really wanted to ride my new helium tech firewire spitfire .. Board is insane.. So light and responsive.. Felt so fast.. Might get a chumlee as well
