  • Have the strangest pic on my phone from NSSS on friday.  They were mid dredge and there was a river in the middle of the beach heading out to sea.

  • In a few months there is going to be a very long stretch of beach from central jersey all the way up through long island that is going to be un-surfable. For those of us who have already seen some of the post dredge stretches during these past few swells, it is scary.

Summer is summer, but it is going going to be a very weird fall.

  • Couldn't believe what I saw on Fri morning.  25 years of memories came flowing back.  I imagine whoever from the city/state is making these decisions could care less how this effects surfers.

  • I think that some places will work and some places won't. There was a knee high peeler off of the East Muff at low tide today while the NS3 was shorebreak. It is Manasquan all over again.

  • I am old enough to remember when that song came out.  I am also old enough to remember when there was a beach at ditch and why they call that spot to the west of ditch toilet bowls.  Now if I can only remember where I put my keys.

  • what's up with the chain link Yard? is that where you lift weights and trade for smokes?

between Arverne By The Sea  >:( and each new "amenity" this is fast becoming a part of the coast you would avoid like the plague if you actually like the beach.
