it was fun enough that I saw snaggle get a beaut of a floater and stik it, typically she would come and tell me about it.  But with wave after wave after wave there was no time cuz you knew as soon as you got out another wave would come and let you do it all over again... alas the tide got droopy low and the crowd got droopy high but damn fun.  Some freakn july.

got out of the water sunday night, realized the dogs needed a walking, so took them out for a little spin around town. stopped, talked to a few neighbors. get inside the house, look in the mirror and realize everyone neglected to tell me i had a giant piece of seaweed on my forehead. sort of like having a piece of lettuce in your teeth, but a lot worse.

3 hrs central 3 hrs back west , pretty awesome run of swell for summer . I think it is fair to say after all the malignment , and discourse over the dredge back in Queens IMO it is safe to say it was for the best

Ha, a classic move.  There was a grom out today where I was who had a huge chunk of seaweed stuck to his mop for a solid hour and a half before his buddies let him in on the secret.

Well, all in all - if every day were today, I'd be in serious trouble of never, ever working another day in my life. 


Great morning surfing with the one and only ez ed who was absolutely killing it on the 9'5" Onefin, a mid-mornign quick session with grom who successfully tested out a brace on his healing ankle on 4 waves, and then a late morning/past noon session til the wind came up in town, looking for rights wherever I could find them.


Life is good.

yeah , win win , I almost went home for the day and did my run through LB , get breakfast and check a few spots back in Queens when i saw the wind still offshore and the swell lining up much better with nice sets . I been liking my central early back west second sesh lately .
