  • i picked this board up a while ago.  i only attempted to use it a few times.  it's 6'6, super narrow and super thing.  i tried using on waves two weeks ago when we had a nice weekend of 5 footers.  it took me quite a bit to get up on this.  partly because i was used to my 10ft longboard i was riding all weekend, but also it felt like ice when i first got up.  i'm curious what types of waves these board would be good for.  my flyer II isn't too much wider but it definitely feels less "squirly"

just curious to hear some members thoughts.

  • for my size, i would use it for big waves with strong winds/drift.

  • Looks like a board for fast overhead, hollow days - it may be a squash, but it's a real pulled in tail - and with a narrow, thin board like that and what appears to be some decent entry rocker - yeah....find yourself a day when you're looking to drop into some overhead barrels and GO!
