  • Got my rich cousins wedding in santo domingo and then punta cana; are there waves on the south side of the island or does most of that come in the north like Caberete. thanks yo.

  • Yes and yes. There are waves on both sides but the north is much more consistant. A friend who lives down there tells me that the south side has some excellent reefs that get very good in the right conditions but they are very rare. Your best bet is to head north

  • This time of year, South Coast and Punta Cana probably won't pay off. Which place in Punta Cana? Only two resorts that I know of have anything rideable within a decent distance. Secrets and Superclubs Breezes.
