  • The simplification process begins.

The first bargain in this lot which may or may not include 3-4 other boards is up for sale.

It is my 7'2 Ashton Big Guy Thruster w. 19.5" deck and  2.5" rails. White board with powder blue rails & squash tail.
Rode it on October 9th, and the board was a session saver. Nevertheless, it is time to say good bye and make room for a new board.

First, here's what's wrong with it:

    1. Buckle: Mis-Timed a Duck Dive in Oct 02 and bam! Buckled the underside of the board. Thought it was done for at 3 months old. Brought it to Inlet Outlet, and three weeks later, it was almost good as new (structuarally fine, but cosmetically scarred). Have surfed head to over head Costa Rica, Rock, Manasq, and Matanzas with it without even noticing it has been repair. Not a factor.

2: There are three dings in the bottom from CR Lava Rocks. Filled with QCell, glassed and hot-coated. Water tight, and only cosmeticlally blemished. Not a factor.

3: Stripped Fin Screw (Future Fins). Unless you know how to bore them out, consider the fins glassed on. Could be a drag if you want to travel, but if you're handy, you'll be able to remove the screw and get replacements from FoamEZ.com.

Perfect board for loggers and bigger surfers who need something they can paddle and duck dive in bigger waves and will get into the wave early.  It ain't pretty, but it sure is fun.

    Asking $175.00

Photos soon, or come by the Red Door.

  • Yeah, if I'm not around, just ask Happy or McFloater to grab it for you.

    Try before you buy.

So heavy you can't even pick it up.

  • It is 7'2" and 19.5" wide and I think the rails are either 2.5 or 2.75 inches.

Either way, it will float you and get you into bigger waves early and you can duck dive it easily.

So heavy you can't even pick it up.
