sick work on the wood board. thanks for the step by step on the log.

question. can you make a rail hot wire tool out of thin, flat metal? just to get the basic rail shape and clean it up.

also, where do you get the big blocks of EPS?

I have never used a hot wire for rail bands but I think there was a thread about it on swaylocks.com. I get 2" EPS sheets from HomeDepot and glue them together with 3M super 77. HomeDepot EPS is very soft so you need to cover it with Balsa or glass it real heavy.

There is a place in Jersey (A&S Packaging - 201.865.5300) that sells the blocks of higher density stuff that you can glass lighter. I think the minimum order is $250 but that is for a big block that you could get at least six blanks out of.
