I was just on the boardwalk near 114th St, looked out across a lake-like ocean, and I saw this strange scaffolding type structure in the water.

What the heck is it? Anyone know? It looked to be close to the Ambrose tower, somewhat east and closer to us, but still pretty farking far out there. Ambrose is approx 3.5 miles I think - this may have been a half mile closer, potential optical illusions aside...

Just a guess, but maybe they are bringing out some scaffold structure to fix the Ambrose light. It was struck a few weeks ago, remember?

 Shocked  How the hell does someone run into Ambrose Light?  That's like running into the one giant redwood growing in the middle of the desert.
