So I snapped some pictures of the Waterfalls In Brooklyn yesterday on my way home. There's no greater rush then pulling out your iPhone and snapping away while you sit under a cantilever on a substandard "highway" doing 10 per hour.

I don't really get it. It seems to artificial. If it was closer to a building or another tall structure it might work for me but the "Stand Alone" waterfalls is kind of creepy. Conceptually I like that someone is trying to do something different but that doesn't mean I have to like it right?

Anyway, maybe it looks better at night or from the City? I don't know.

Wow I may have to rethink getting an iPhone.  They sure do take crappy pictures and, as everybody knows, that is the main reason for getting a phone today.  Wink

BB was the water running.  If is difficult to tell on your, aesthically pleasing but slightly soft focus, image.   Wink  I've been watching them from the ferry the last couple of weeks.

Mims-  I too thought is was just under the bridges, but there is one I believe on Governors Island, one in the Battery and one on the Brooklyn piers too.  It should be interesting to see.

I saw the waterfall last night as i was riding my bike over the Manhattan Bridge. It was on the Manhattan side on a pier. It looked really stupid. What a waste of water.

it's not a waste of water. it just sucks it up from the river and puts it back in the river.

We get some bugs but its not too bad because we put birdseed out. The finches live off bugs. Actually a bunch of the birds go after the bugs...

One bug problem I;m conflicted about is the caterpillars. They farking killed my Dill. But still, I can't kill those little buggers, I just chuck them in to the church next door. Lately I'm been chucking harder and harder.

Boyeee eat something...
