The event is less than 2 weeks away, and we want to thank:

Cosmic Bull Surfboards,

Boarders Surf Shop,

Natures Shapes and Soul Patrol Surfboards,

St. James Clothing

Grey Ghost Surfboards, and

Gang Plank Skateboards

All of the above companies have agreed to participate and display at the Surf Expo - we deeply appreciate all of their support
for our community and this NYC surf event!!!

Looking forward to seeing everyone on the 19th - remember, this event is 4 hours only! Noon to 4PM, and is designed not just to let you meet and greet local shapers and local surf industry reps, but also to let you buy, sell and trade YOUR used equipment!!

So......drag out all your old boards and gear, bring everything over and put it on display!! hey, nothing to lose, everything to gain!!

See y'all there!!

Just spoke with Becker, bring 4 or 5 OneFin Models and two Rasmussen Models to represent Soul Patrol, unfortunately the mininoserider "The Bean" will not be ready in time.  Nature Shapes will have a *central LI* SUP as well as a couple for sale, a few fish quads and round tail quads.  Apparel and neato bandito stickers as well.

Hey SeaCliff I don't have Becker's number. Can you or someone who sees this and has his number call him and tell him to bring a stand up paddle? He'll have a buyer.

NYCWO confirmed with him yesterday, McF - and yeah, there should be a SUP along with him for the ride!

Thanks for everyone that came out in the blazing heat - the turnout was amazing! All sorts of boards, assorted gear, shirts and surf art changed hands...couldnt have been more pleased with a first effort!

Personal thanks to dakook for the extra tent and the tunes, and most important to Alex Karinsky, the man behind it all not just by setting the wheels in motion, but making it all happen. Great thing you did for the community, Alex - thanks for letting me be a part of it!
