Came across this site as I was doing a little research - it's about an upcoming "reunion" of surfers from Nantasket Beach, Mass, 1966-1970..

Sifting thru the photos and stuff there's all sorts of shots of great boards and waves and stories - wonder if it'd be even remotely possible to contact surfers from Rock from that era and do something similar? Even if it was just to collect the images and stories and history, it'd be amazing...

Reminds me of the boards we used to "borrow" from under the deck of my older brother's friends - we were just kids, it took two of us to haul them down to the ocean, then we'd argue and fight about who got to ride it...nevermind that it was undoubtedly pretty much flat on those days or the boards wouldnt have been there to begin with, or that they wanted to beat the snot out of us for taking them in the first place. Perhaps this explains my aversion to longboards??  Roll Eyes
