  • Guys this is not normal, in my 15 years of landscape work I have never come across such a dense planting in such a small soil volume. After meeting Onefin's parents this weekend now I understand why: biodynamic gardening, its all in the "preps" aka homeopathy for plants, the manure in the horn buried in the ground thing is no joke! Makes basic organic gardening look like fisher price.

  • hey I'd really like to go in on the ladybugs with you, onefin! Got not nearly enough in the yard. Spotted maybe a dozen total thus far.  Ladybugs will get you access to two showers plus I'll throw in a parking spot and yard usage.

CAUTION: Contents under pressure. May cause irritation. Keep away from children. Do not expose to extreme heat or cold.
    Wash thoroughly after handling.

Are you offering to shower the kid twice if he brings you bugs?  :o

  • shout to manbearpig coming through on the ladybugs and earthworms, I owe you a beer for sure.  Long story short I unleash my ladybugs last night into the wet garden, a sprinkle here a dabble there.  Take out the flashlight and tell snaggle to come and check out the bugs feasting on our garden predators, and the 1st thing snaggle sees is a little baby praying mantis (cute little fella or lady) than everywhere we looked there are mantis, holy brown trout it worked.  Even better when I went to drop the ladybugs in the pepper and eggplant garden I shined the light on the soil and it was chock full of earthworms, fuckn stoked.  Went to bed dreaming of ladybugs woke up to draining barrels.  CHEEEEEHOOOOOO!!!!!!
