The opening band (The Feelies) starts at 3PM.
It is free, but you need a ticket. They gave away all the free tickets already. But I'm sure they will let more people in as other people leave. A few years ago we I went to the Yo La Tengo free show. All the free tix were also given away before the show. We went down there, got on a long line, and eventually got inside in time to see the entire show.
