yeah, nylocal it's the farberow 2.  took me two seconds to make the decision.  i was just about to head home when i saw it. jen...i'm glad i could put your hubby at ease:)

Just kidding.  I think the event can officially be called a success.  I was talking with Eric at the Beach House and I already put a bug in his ear for the spring.  It has to happen off season so we don't disturb the adjacent businesses during their peak season.  He has a doctor, travel agent and realtor next to him.  So feel free to get that check up, book a trip and buy a house.

My friend scored a sweet 9'4" Brewer off one of the more stylish regulars at the breaks I surf.
I hope there's some magic in the board left for her too.

Jen - I was standing right there when she was walking away with the board.  If you had the name tage, I would have introduced myself.  It looked like a great board for her.  I was the guy running around trying to write down all the info about the boards, owners, prices, etc. 

I got up to 75 boards and then quit.  I probably missed another 20 or so of the people that came late.  Good times.

how cool was it seeing so many stoked smiles as people walked away with their new aquisitions?
of course all these "new" boards for people invariably means no waves.

i think the board will be a good match for my friend too. Ever since I loaned her a log, she's
gotten better and better. I think now that she doesn't have to worry about damaging someone else's board she's going to get real good fast.

if this is a repeat event, i'd be glad to assist transaction recording if you need a break.
