  • I heart wagons, especially 2 door comet wagons.  this is the comet that got away that.  owner didn't want to trade for my VW and I was broke at the time.

  • I had a Falcon Wagon when I was 17. Its was almost impossible to kill, you could put sand in the crankcase and it would still run. I paid 400 dollars for it and put another 400 into it  but I loved that car . The 6 cylinder was a good dependable motor and it was easy to work on
I don't wanna be a star. Have my picture in magazines, have a bunch of kids looking up to me. I'm a drunk, Bear, a screw up. I just surf cause its good to go out and ride with your friends. I don't even have that anymore.

  • Hey Onefin give us a review on that fartknocker......inquiring minds want to know.  I think Lost makes something similar now too......."The Plank"?  Might not be entirely the same though

it's still out in california. we're trying to build a quiver out there so i don't have to fly boards back and forth. but, the fartknocker will hopefully make its way back to the east coast soon. when our swell dies down and it looks good out there, one or both of us will go get it. i can't wait to try it (it was a sort of self-serving gift.... ::) )

  • the funny thing for me, i get really stuck on 1 or 2 boards. frocket, sdII and parrish semi-gun are all i really need for just about any wave. i found an al merrick proton in perfect shape - not a ding or dent - for $190 in san clemente. That's about what it would cost to fly it back and forth, depending on the airline (FU America - $225 RT last time!!). so, it ends up being economical. i just need a frocket-type board, and the WC quiver should be complete.

onefin, on the other hand, is a board slut. even if he loves a board, he'll ditch it in a second for something new. note, i typed "BOARD" not "BROAD"  ;)

its true, i am a total board whore and yet I am forever labeled a longboarder, go figure.  Cant wait to give the fartknocker ago but I knew Snaggle wanted it when she asked about the size board I would want and I said a 5' would be fun maybe a little shorter, her response was more or less, perfect I will grab this 5'4 it looks super fun.  Im just lucky its not pink ;D   As for the bicoastal quiver, thats for sure, I am always checking craigslist for deals on the west coast, I can always have a buddy pick the board up or have it dropped off at Snaggle's moms place.  I would imagine down the road another quiver being left in Costa Rica, fark you airlines and your arbitrary and ambiguous ever increasing board fees
