  • I'm procrastinating, so thought i would share my recent purchases. Got the Proton for $190 - not a ding! and they threw in the other board for $50, so i said, what the hell.
    Proton is 6'3x19x2 1/4 (nice little step-up find!) and the other one is 5'11x18 3/4 x 2 1/4.

  • no its more personal stuff. first i wouldnt pay as much as they charge for a new one (you got a sick deal for a new one i probaly wouldnt pass that up to be honest) and then the whole CI/Roberts controversy has left me feeling pretty bitter at how CI acted. nothing wrong with the boards at all

sorry snaggletooth didnt mean to be a jackass and kill your stoke or anything. they are sick boards both of htem

  • (this is snaggle) not a stoke killer at all. since it's used (and $190 for a virtually new board!) i don't mind. i'll have to look into the controversy. i watched flow, or whatever the movie is called, with all the interviews with Al and Kelly, etc, a couple years ago and thought it was really interesting until he proclaims himself a jesus freak at the end (sorry, that might offend people, but i'm not into the accept jesus as your personal saviour routine)

i might like my lost SDII more than the proton, but probably cause the lost is a little thinner. anywho - deal was too good to pass up. i highly recommend the stewart shop in san clemente for used boards. that's also where i got onefin his brand spanking new fartknocker for a very good price. it has yet to see water and currently resides underneath my mom's bed. (thanks, mom for housing our boards!)

if you can find me a used roberts, mbp, all will be forgiven  ;)
"Long Beach Rule you cant stand up on a bodyboard." Guillespe.  "I have the rules, it doesn't say that anywhere" me.  "Its our rule, its always been our rule, I make the rules" guillespe.  "Thats not really fair you just made that rule up" me.  "go to the surf beach" Guillespe.  "Wont I get kicked out for ridind a bodyboard" me. "Yes" Guillespe. Damned if I do, Damned if I dont.  We love LB
