Hows the water temps, Leaving this week, I'll see you Boyeee Thursday but should I pack a 3/2? I have been in a suit for the last 8 months & find it hard to believe i'll only need boardies. Anyone know?

Well Thats cool, I dont know what I can do since my stupid knee prob. Im hoping I can surf something. To be honest, I dont care what size it is becuase the last trip sucked for the bride, she was overwhelmed with all the wave size when we were there last. She could barely surf. She's not used to waves more then waste to chest, chest to head is too much for her so I would just realy like it if she had a break thru session & not get stressed so she can enjoy surfing again. She's been bummed on it lately.
Stoked we're going, Im just byummed becuase it all depends how my knee does in the next couple days that determines whether I bring a fish or a shortboard.

Surfed D St. Encinitas over mem day in my 3/2, no booties, no gloves. You'll be fine. More than fine. After the winter here it was like going up to the plate having swung 4 bats w/ donuts on deck for 8 innings. Now that I think of it, this was prob the reason i came back home and went out yesterday with that same gear and froze me ass off. If you have one, you might even want to bring a spring for afternoon sessions. |
