Checked out Pine Surf shop while in always a favorite long beach island, NJ.  Really cool shop with great original clothing design, very good artwork everywhere, and Hess surfboards.  The Hess boards were what initially got me to go in there because I really wanted to see one in person.  Here's what I think about being able to feel one up!!  WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!!!
I always wanted to use the moving word thing but i am not smart enough!!!  Enter smart wife!!!
Pretty amazing boards with very highly refined designs.  They had some other rare and interesting boards.  A MR twin, Gerry Lopez lightning bolt single, and some other boards.  I suggested they check out Griffin Surfboards as I am ridiculously happy with the weird ass 5 fin board I got as a surprise wedding gift!!  They are also looking into Mayo boards.  Pretty cool shop with a slightly different vibe from mollusk.  The lack of brooklyn and more specifically williamsburg creates a different vibe.  The plan on doing similar activities but they have more artwork and things like going on.  They make their own t-shirts and they are actually really really cool.  I bought 2.  Anyway.  Pretty cool shop with very friendly people and good artwork.  Great surf report also!!!  Nice to have a specific for down here.  I know I am lazy.

Good review, I love the shop. Been to two gallery events there and they're really fun. Julie and Mark who are the driving force behind the art front are awesome and really cool people. And Sean who is the shop manager is a former guard from my squad and is also a great guy. If you guys get the chance definitely check out the next gallery opening, its super fun and theres a lot of great people to talk story with.
Peace,
Kyle

those hess boards are some of the most beautiful things i've ever seen in person. I cant help but think they may not perform all that great in the average mush we get here.
