I got a line on a kona kula for $350 that is the perfect size for her. I feel like its a pretty amazing deal but I have been out of the bike world for so long that I don't know whats relevant anymore. Here is the spec list.
Kona Kula (est 2000-2002 model year)
Race Face low-rise bars
Lizard Skins grips
Race Face stem
Chris King headset
Marzocchi Bomber LT form (2003 model, recently serviced)
XTR v-brakes
XT shifters
New Shimano cables
XT front der
XTR rear der
XTR chain
Sugino cranks
cheesy platform pedals (you know you want them)
Cheesy suspension seatpost (takes the sting out
(I have a good seatpost for it, but am drawing a blank on the make - will edit later when my Alzheimers improves)
Seat - yes
Tires - check
(see notes above and below about my failing memory)
Mavic 217 rims w/XT hubs.
