did it last summer as well. its hot. but i hit a really good swell and surfed some of the best waves of my life.

Yes it's hot, but this helps:

Models indicate that the South Pacific will unleash solid swell through at least the rest of July as a series of strong storms track across the Southern Hemi. As of right now, solid back to back pulses of SW/S groundswells (185-210) will charge next week starting around July 23rd-24th and possibly holding up through the rest of the month. Therefore, we can expect a continuous run of head-overhead surf.
