  • What a donkey, that regular foot is riding the damn thing backwards...

Well, we always preach; Fins Front!
I am wracked with such hearty guffaws, that in addition to rolling to and fro on the floor, my posterior has separated itself from my body.

  • Not sure what you're asking here or if it's just a rhetorical question....
seems to be a word or two missing in the question.
    Backside turn, obviously not.
    Cutback? not really
Is the turn done right? it's nice hack, tight arc.
    What's a "Back Turn"?

  • No. It was a real question.I have trouble turning back after i hit a lip and turn right.I thought this is what was ment by a back side turn.
a backside turn would be any turn you do while surfing backside {back to the wave}. That includes a bottom turn, top turn, snap, cutback... these btw, are all common accepted terms for maneuvers. Since these terms are pretty established, the "back turn" thing threw me. That is a well executed turn, but if you are having trouble cutting back, I wouldn't visualize what that guy is doing. You might ask nycwipeout for tips {I'm serious here}, he's usually good for some solid advice. Has helped my surfing more than once, and that's besides yelling at me to "PULL IN!"    :D
