well three years running and walter has not yet snapped with us. through walter we have also become friends with an inspirational family of surfers in southern california comprised of shapers, pros, and wandering world travelers. they've known walter for years. he has shown them the same hospitality and kindness. i only speak of my own experience, but it is said you can tell something about a person from the company they keep. from meeting walter's good friends in el salvador and here in the U.S. i feel like we are talking about a different person and it is hard for me to reconcile what i read here with the person i know. i am sorry for anyone's troubles but personally i still have to give benefit of the doubt based on my firsthand experience.
