I just moved up here from the west coast and i am already planning an escape from the cold next spring.  I have been to Bali a few times and I have always wanted to take a trip out to the Menatwaiis,  however doing some research I am finding boat trips to start at 1800 for an 8 day trip.  I found a deal for Macaronis for around 1400 for a 8 day trip,  the place sounds unreal and the guy I spoke to just got back and he said it was amazing.  On paper is sounds great and the web makes everything sound great.   Thanks for the help.

taking a boat or stayin on land? theres a new law taht only 2 boats can be anchored in the channel at macaronies

Sorry about that,  staying at the surf camp.  Ya the guy I spoke to said that they only had 2 boats at a time there and there was not much of a crowd.  Does anybody know if that is actually happening.  Thanks

some friends were there on a boat two weeks ago, and yes-only 2 boats at a time.  i was there 8 years ago and maccas was a zoo every time we passed it...6 boats minimum.  he said it was great this time, and they caught great surf there too!

Thanks for the info,  I booked it and now I just need to make it till April.  If anybody wants to go there is is still room they said.   It was almost 800 less then a boat trip so I hope it is worth it.  Thanks for the advice.
