on the upside, if baby stays put a few more days i might be able to bring some boards down to AB3.

hang in there..  some say late babies are mellower and cool anyways.

fwiw - i do believe that most of the variance in babies being born before or after due date is from incorrect date of conception.

also - in my experience, the walking really does work (in addition to the honeymooning).  A few "overdue" gals i know walked for a few hours around town and went into labor that night or the next day.  ours was two weeks late, but personally, i don't think there's a big rush (but of course, i didn't have to do any pushing) and was thankful our doctor was cool about everything.

I've got a posterior passenger and haven't "progressed" for the last two weeks after an initially promising quick/early labor. I'm not in a rush to get him out until I've tried a few other techniques for getting him turned...but yeah, i am not a big subscriber to the notion that nature syncs to my blackberry or anything like that. My boy may be a slow-cooker but I suspect he'll be worth the wait. (in the meantime, I can't even read the Main Room because I am so sick of hearing about all the good surf I am missing)

yeah, i have LN...been using a lot of their techniques recently started coupling them with a dose of pulsatilla. It's so hard to tell if it's been effective. Mapping baby at this point is difficult since he's def starting to mellow owing to how crowded it's getting in there. If "labor day" doesn't arrive by Monday I am going to see a chiropractor for an adjustment in hopes that jiggles baby around and kicks things off, and then maybe try accupunture for induction at the end of the week. Husband and I are going to play in the pool at the gym tomorrow night too and see if some time floating on my tummy for a while will help.

ah well, trying to make the best of my leave by getting things done around the house in the meantime.

You will get an assist by a heat wave or the full moon, but both seem to be too far off to help now (5/20 for the full moon).  My kids  came early on unexpected hot days.  Anyway it goes down, best of luck and enjoy the little human in the taco wrap and cap when they hand it to you for the first time.

Wish, I was around to help you out Jen. There is an acupuncture treatment that takes only 5 min and WHAMMO! you're in labor. Never failed me yet. So far so good I sent out 6 babes! My last momma I asked her if she wanted her baby tomorrow or on the weekend when her husband is off from work. She looked at me like I was nutz. She came in friday evening had her in labor in an hour and she delivered Sat Morning! Ill send you good delivery vibes!!!!! All the Best!
