Got a late email from Surfrider-NYC about a rally - for anyone who can go:

     Dear Friends and Chapter Members,

I know that this is last minute and that weekday events are difficult for most of us to make but we have a critical opportunity to make ground in the LNG fight and I'd like help from any of you who could attend the following event:

-Who: Surfrider, Clean Ocean Action and other Anti-LNG activist, including YOU-What: Anti-LNG Rally & Press Conference outside Mid-Atlantic Governors Forum on Ocean and Coastal Management

-Where: Tribeca on the campus of Borough of Manhattan Community College (on the Sidewalk of 199 Chamber's Street).

-When: Thursday, June 4th at two times, 11-Noon and 2-4pm.

-Why: Because the press will be there to cover the Governors including Governors Paterson and Corzine who can give us what we want, a Veto on LNG!
