Well now that was pretty disappointing....
« on: November 27, 2007, 05:01:44 PM »
My meeting ended way to late to make a trip out east feasable, so.........

I traveled far and wide over the entire length of the western long island peninsulas - and I mean the ENTIRE length of both. I went to spots I haven't visited in years....and came up completely empty this afternoon. I suppose I could have gotten wet at a couple of spots, but damn...where there were waves, it was junky and shutting down, and there were plenty of places that just weren't working at all.

Ehhh...happens sometimes. Guess there's nothing to do but roll with the punches.

Knew this was gonna be a hit and run swell, even more than usual - and yeah, anything I did see today was closing pretty fast - tough angle, I guess.  :-\

Jeff and Alex F just got home from Joisey.  They thought the angle was fine.  5 hour session from 9-2 and then a break for lunch and a little rest the 4-just after dark.  They keep talking about barrels after barrels after barrels and stuff.  :o
