Welllll...looking down the line - maybe some hope for those of us missing it today..
From weather.com Hurricane Central:

A low pressure center appears to be developing just east of the northernmost Bahamas. With upper-level winds favorable for strengthening of this disturbance, a tropical depression could form there over the next day or so. Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunters are scheduled to scout the area tomorrow.

Hey, dudes, can we turn down the tomorrow hype in the main room a bit.  Let's try to avoid another flame fest about whether or not this messageboard makes the crowds worse.

BTW, there won't be waves tomorrow go to Jersey.

Except it's spinning the wrong way. Is that possible?

Hurricane tracking by east coast surfers is a longstanding tradition - sort of like seeing the beautiful girl across a crowded bar - you may not ever get to see her up close, but even from across the room, damn is she beautiful to look at.

NJ is actually a land of chocolate factories with topless women employees in every store, the waves are so good it has recently earned the nickname "J-land", inspired by the original wonder wave "G-land" a place of every surfers dreams

Cloud cover. We need cloud cover. The sun comes out, the onshores will kick. They're talking summer type heat today, which usually brings summer-type afternoon onshores.  :-\

On another note, I have an 11am meeting in Westhampton tomorrow - hmmmm...if I head out early, bring a board with me and catch a few waves, I wonder if the people in the meeting will mind if I show up a little......umm....salty.  ::)

Good times again!! swell dropped of alittle, buts its still chest high on the sets...

My normal local was crapping out on the low tide so i moved a jettie down and it was bowling up on the outside then setting up for a killer inside section, pretty sick stuff considering the conditions. Perfect ramps and nose rides, good times.

Thats why Love surfing. ;D
