I am really not a fan of surf schools at all, while I respect the family, ZooYork has crossed the line.... But then again I am sure the Rock crew could care less so I woulnt waste time typing about it.

Saw him flopping around on a blue foam-top on Friday morning before he started "instructing" about 10-15 "students". The whole thing is a dangerous sham and I can't believe the city allows it to go on. He's got a bunch of pictures on his website that show him posing with Assemblyman Harvey Weisenberg, so maybe that's how he's able to do this. I'm interested to see if anyone's had any interaction with this guy or if they have ever complained to Skudin...

The NSSIA is headquartered on Gilligan's Island.  Head to the  master license department and ask for Maryanne.

I helped run a surf camp/school once, except it was free, and only for kids under 13. All this buttwipe is doing is getting paid to help a bunch of monkeys fool themselves that trimming a 2 footer with a foamie is like the women's tee and 8ft fall storm swell is like the mens i.e. forget all that water knowledge, conditioning and ability that takes years to develop - its actually attainable after only a series of lessons by a "pro" -  Mr. Master Surf Instructor nowhere to be found when they're being peeled off the jetty.
