You know that surfing is becoming mainstream when Coors is advertising it. They are sponsoring Josh Mohr, longboarder and offering a free longboard contest (you can also buy it for 500) plus $125 shipping and handling. Shaped by Arrow surfboards.

Total package $625? I dunno....I say support your local shaper, and have him put the label for the beer of your choice on the deck!
Never saw a Coors board before - Mario has a Guinness longboard, and a kid who surfs by me has a blue Guinness thruster - really nice looking board, actually! Seen plenty of Budweiser boards on display in various bars over the years, that's for sure.

You already have pros sponsored by paul Mitchell Hair gel, Davidoff Cologne/Cigars etc. (laird) and Cell phone companies. I wouldn't srtart getting all riled up about this kind of thing. It's only the beginning.

there's more & more corporations getting in on the surfing craze - Coors ads all over Surfline at the moment
and it really will become more apparent as more CEOs & marketing execs start coming from the surfing pool of society
expect to see more Mercs & Bentley convertibles at your local lineup
