Daniel Bobis was a fixture in the community of Long Beach. A high school teacher and head coach of the surf team, loving husband, surfer, musician, environmental activist, martial arts master, and friend to all. He was one of the most generous and selfless people on this planet, and always willing to lend a hand to anyone who was in need.
Daniel's life was tragically cut short while on a surf trip in Indonesia and it is our intention to ensure that his memory, love for life and charitable spirit live on in the community of Long Beach. We are also striving to show support and love to the Bobis family in appreciation of the years of service Daniel gave us.
Please join us at a fundraiser to benefit the Bobis family, as well as to help keep Daniel's memory alive.
There will be open bar, food and music, as well as an outdoor tent area for underage children and students who wish to attend. We will be having various items for raffles and auctions such as custom made surfboards, new and used surfboards, snowboards, autographed memorabilia, art work, sporting event tickets and much more. All proceeds from the event go directly to the Bobis family.
