Spring NJ Sale/Swap - Sunday May 3rd 9am-??

  • It's that time of year again for the 11th annual spring swap/sale on Tres de Mayo!  Weal a sumbrero or bring me a tecate and get $5 off any board I am personally selling.  You heard it here first.

    In front of:
    Beach House Surf Shop
    517 Main Avenue (Route 35)
    Bay Head, NJ 08742
    http://www.beachhouseclassic.com/

If you know what you are bringing, post it up here or email/PM me.  It is easier to create interest when people know what will be there.  As always, expect plenty of longboards, vintage, retro, some shorties, etc.  Some really good deals to be had.

Beach House is kind enough to provide the location, but takes no fees, commissions, etc.  All deals are made directly with the seller.  Bring your gear and a blanket, board bag or something to lay it out on the concrete sidewalk and driveway.  I will be providing free burgers and dogs again, but if anyone else wants to bring something to throw on the grill have at it.  We ran out of food last time (can't complain when it's free), but there is a deli a few stores away.

  • I'll have a few on the block for sure... An old 1967ish Bunger V bottom thing, A 1972 pocket rocket (in excellent shape), A strange Rick teardrop displacement hull, Matador El Gato, and maybe something else really nice. I have to take some pictures though.
Welcome to Rockaway.. Now Pick up some litter and go home.

  • I am sure the whole family will come out for this one...we (husband and I) went to the first and had a great time. (is there a field in the baby book for Nat's first board swap?)

It's nice that you guys plan these so close to my birthday.  ;D

  • Start saving your pennies, swap/sale in a little over a month.  Mexican theme (whatever that means).

PM me a list of what you are bringing down and I will post it up everywhere to spread the word.
