Please remember this one simple rule before you post: Be as SPECIFIC AS POSSIBLE in the topic title (Subject) line!

The forums are extensively crawled by google and every other major and minor search engine out there. The more descriptive you are, the wider the audience that will potentially see your ad.

For example:

Not so good topic title: 2 boards for sale


Good topic title: For Sale: 6'6 Channel Islands Al Merrick Black Beauty and 10' Cooperfish Nosedevil


Better still? If you have more than one board for sale, make a separate topic for each. Yes, it's more work, but in the long run, it ranks in google higher and will result in more hits.

Also: Using the words "For Sale" or "Wanted" in your topic line helps tremendously! Google does an excellent job in cross referencing words. For example, by using the words "For Sale", google will crossmatch it to people who type the word "buy" into their search bar.

Finally, ADD IMAGES. If you already have images on the web, just embed the link. If you have the images on your hard drive, click where it says "Additional Options" just below the text box for your post, then look where it says attach. click browse, find your image, and you're done.
